One person died Tuesday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Lexington County.

The fatal collision occurred on Old Chapin Road, near Vista Oaks Drive, around 6:38 p.m., according to Sgt. Tyler Tidwell of the SC Highway Patrol.

A 2008 Toyota Tacoma was traveling east on Old Chapin Road when it collided with a 2008 Toyota Sienna van that was coming from the opposite direction. The driver of the Sienna died as a result of the crash. No more details were give and the Lexington County Coroner has not yet identified the the victim of the crash.
