One person died in a Lexington County crash, Wednesday night.

The driver of a 2002 Toyota four-door ran off the road and hit a pole said SC Highway Patrol Trooper Sonny Collins.

The incident happened around 9:35 p.m. The car was traveling west on Hermitage Road when it ran off the road, hit a utility pole and overturned. The Lexington County Coroner’s Office is expected to release the identity of the deceased later.
