One person died in a Lexington County crash, Thursday, according to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt of the SC Highway Patrol.
Bolt said the fatal crash occurred around 6:13 p.m., on Boiling Springs Road about 7 miles south of Lexington. The driver of a 2003 Chevrolet pick-up truck was headed north on Boiling Springs Road when the truck veered left, left the road, and hit a tree. The driver was the only person in the truck and was killed in the collision.
The name of the driver has not yet been released by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office. The crash is under investigation by the SC Highway Patrol.
