One person died in a crash on Fish Hatchery Road near Patricia Drive in Lexington County, around 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, according to Cpl. David Jones of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Jones said a 1991 Ford F-150 was traveling south on Fish Hatchery Road when it ran off the road to the right, then over-corrected and ran off the left side of the road and overturned.

The driver was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A passenger was killed at the scene as a result of the crash.
