One person died in a crash in Lexington County, Friday night.

The fatal collision occurred on Crystal Springs Drive at Living Waters Blvd according to Master Trooper Joseph L. Rowell of the SC Highway Patrol.

Rowell said a 1997 Dodge Pickup traveling west on Crystal Springs Drive veered left, crossing the center line onto Living Waters Blvd. The truck went off the road and hit a mailbox, then it hit a tree. The driver died as a result of the crash. The time of the crash was 11:13 p.m. on Friday. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.

The Lexington County Coroner has not yet released the name of the deceased.
