One person died, Wednesday in a crash that occurred on Boiling springs Road near Longview Street, Wednesday, in Lexington County.
Master Trooper David Jones of the SC Highway Patrol said the incident occurred around 4:50 p.m.

The collision involved two vehicles, both traveling north on Boiling Springs Road. A 1992 Yamaha motorcycle crashed into the back of a 2018 Mercedes van after the van slowed down to make a left turn. The person on the motorcycle was killed in the collision. The motorcycle also caught on fire, according to Jones.
