A head-on collision on Mineral Springs Road near the entrance to the Carrington Place neighborhood shut down all lanes, Sunday evening, after 7 p.m. All lanes of Mineral Springs Road were reopened, by 8 p.m., according to the Lexington Police Department.

The driver of the pickup truck was found at fault and contributed to the wreck by driving distracted and was also arrested for Driving Under the Influence. He was the only one hurt in the collision and was transported by EMS to the hospital with minor injuries. (LPD photos.)
