West Columbia Police make arrest in connection to Security Federal Bank Robbery

The West Columbia Police Department has arrested Satorius Zayevon Martin, age 30, of 800 North Lucas Street, West Columbia, in connection with the robbery at Security Federal Bank, located at 1185 Sunset Blvd., #B, West Columbia. The arrest occurred around 1:30 PM today.

The robbery at Security Federal Bank was reported at approximately 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Following the report, officers from the West Columbia Police Department, in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, launched an immediate investigation. The combined efforts of these agencies led to the swift identification, location, and apprehension of the suspect.

“We are grateful for the quick and coordinated response by our officers and partners at the FBI and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department,” said Police Chief Marion Boyce. “This arrest is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of all the law enforcement personnel involved.”

The suspect, Satorius Zayevon Martin, will be transported to the Lexington County Detention Center. She faces charges related to the robbery and is awaiting her first court appearance.
