Planet Fitness at 2410 Augusta Road in the Danwood Shopping Center is now open. The Planet Fitness facility is in a 26,000 square-foot space and it anchors the shopping center. Over the past year, the shopping center has been undergoing a façade redevelopment and improvements. Planet Fitness opened late Monday.

Other stores in the shopping center include Pet Supplies Plus, Casa Oaxaca, Liberty Tax, Starbucks, and McAlister’s Deli.

The West Columbia Planet Fitness will have more higher-tier amenities than neighboring locations. It offers red light and blue light tanning options. There are also more massage chair- and tanning – options at the West Columbia Planet Fitness.
