USA Today has published a list of the best cities in South Carolina. Lexington is No. 2 on the list of 26 cities, behind Greenville.

According to the article in USA Today, South Carolina’s population is the fastest-growing in the U.S. The state’s population grew by 1.7% between 2022 and 2023, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

USA Today described Lexington as Columbia’s suburb. USA also said; “Lexington, is a vibrant community of about 23,600. It offers a quiet, charming escape from the hustle of the capital, yet it is conveniently 20 minutes away should you need to pop into the metropolis.
