Lexington County Fire Service releases statistical information for May, 14 structure fire responses

The Lexington County Fire Service released call data for May. It shows that the LCFS responded to 1,626 total calls in May, compared to 1,594 calls in April.

Calls included 14 structure fire responses and 16 hazardous material responses and 7 technical rescue responses. There were 10 wild fire responses with 57 acres burned.

There was $373,750 in total losses in May and total saved property was $4.2 million, according to the report.

The time for first unit on-scene was was 7:57 minutes and 13:45 minutes for the second unit on-scene. Average time for LCFS to assemble 15 personnel on-scene was 21 minutes and 7 seconds. LCFS graphics
