A Lexington 2 School Board Candidate Forum is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Sept. 30, at the Lexington 2 Innovation Center off of the 12th Street Extension (509 Bulldog Blvd.) in Cayce. The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce announced the candidate forum Monday.

There are four open seats on the Lexington Two School Board. The election to fill those seats is scheduled for Nov. 5. Abbott “Tre” Bray and Liz Chitty Castles are currently on the school board and they are running to retain their seats.

In all, nine candidates have filed to run. Longtime board members Beth Branham and Cindy Kessler are not seeking re-election.

The nine candidates for the Lexington Two board, in alphabetical order, are:
