College of Charleston relief pitcher, and former Brookland-Cayce High School star, Hayden Thomas, was named to the Coastal Athletic Association All-Rookie Squad, Tuesday.

According to College of Charleston’s Stats page Thomas had a 3-1 record, with one save and an earned run average of 3.89. He pitched 37 innings and recorded 34 stakeouts.

Cougars head baseball coach Chad Holbrook was selected as the CAA Coach of the Year. C of C placed five players on the All-Conference First Team and four players on the CAA Second Team. The Cougars were 39-12 in the regular season and 21-5 in the CAA.
